How to make the Best Mojito – Cocktail Recipe

The following method is based on the recipe from La Bodeguita del Medio; the Cuban bar infamous for making amazing Mojito’s since around 1942.

* 60mL White Rum such as Bacardi or Havana Club Anejo 3
* 30mL Fresh Lime Juice
* 25mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)
* 6-8 Mint Leaves
* 60mL Soda

1. Tear and clap the mint leaves to release the oils
2. Add the mint to a hi-ball glass
3. Add the white rum, fresh lime and sugar syrup
4. Fill the hi-ball with ice
5. Add a dash of soda
6. Stir thoroughly
